Antigua&Barbuda – Covering All Bases

The Bf project is being championed and pushed by the Ministry of Environment in A&B, which has a plethora of agencies and organisations involved in the management of coastal and marine resources. The discussion continues on how best to involve the relevant actors and who should be included in the co-management agreement. Linked to this, the country is seeking funding to carry out a feasibility study on how best to merge the agencies and responsibilities for the Management Area. Elections are also imminent, which might slow the process down, a bit.
