
Down, But Not Out
Hurricane Irma caused significant damage in Barbuda, less so in Antigua. All projects are delayed, as Caribbean islands rally to help each other. In the face of such devastation, the importance of marine conservation is seen to be even more important, in terms of increasing coastal protection and reducing flood damage. Meanwhile, the government is conducting an independent assessment of the most effective Co-Management structure for the country´s PAs, taking into consideration, the existing management institutions.
