Exploring New Sites

We’re exploring the potential of implementing Bf in the Bahamas and the Dominican Republic.

In the DR, the Minister of Environment requested that Bf develop a project to explore, design and implement a co-management agreement for a marine sanctuary and a national park in the country. In collaboration with local partners (Fundacion Punta Cana) initial steps have been made.

While in the Bahamas, preliminary talks with the Bahamas National Trust (BNT) are being conducted, prior to presentation of the  proposal to the newly elected Minister.
