Blue finance is proud to be one of the authors of the IPCC Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate, approved on 24 September. More than 100 authors from 36 countries contributed to the writing of the report.

The IPCC Special Report provides new evidence for the benefits of limiting global warming to the lowest possible level. It also emphasizes on the urgent reduction of greenhouse gas emission to limit the scale of ocean and cryosphere changes and to preserve the ecosystems and livelihoods that depend on it.
