Martinique: Making it Permanent

The creation of the new MMA “Waliwa” is progressing with the recruitment of Rudy Bingue. Rudy is now the permanent officer dedicated to establishing the MMA in Ste Luce. This is a clear proof of the local decision-makers’(town council, government) commitment to marine conservation. His first tasks will include continuing the stakeholder meetings and completion of the zonation plan.
